Rostrevor v Carryduff

Carryduff reserves suffered a heavy defeat to a very fit and well-drilled Rostrevor outfit when the sides met at St Bronagh’s Park on Sunday.

By half-time the home side had racked up a 1-10 to 0-01 advantage and continued to build comprehensively upon this in the second half.

Despite Carryduff enjoying a more constructive period of play in the middle of the second half, when they claimed a goal from a Joe McFlynn penalty, and points from Ben Fitzsimons (2) and Mark McConville (two frees), Rostrevor added another nine points (eight from play) two further goals in the last two minutes of the game to finish comfortably Rostrevor 3-19 Carryduff 1-05.
